Sonja Dulick started the Lead & Achieve Girls program and camp when she found there was a gap in options available locally for her own middle school daughter for youth programs focused on self empowerment, leadership building, realizing opportunities, meeting new friends along with having fun all in one! “It is my goal to create a memorable experiences for girls that they will carry forward with them the rest of their lives as they confidentially advocate for themselves and learn to also be the light for others around them as well."
Facts About Sonja:
- She is a native of St Louis and studied Marketing Communications at St Louis University
- She has a middle school daughter and son
- She enjoys hikes and walks at local parks and loves taking beach vacations

True Success Church and Basketball Fitness Academy Campus (2054 Country Club Rd, St Charles MO 63303)
Camp begins at 9 am and ends at 3 pm each day.
Specific dropoff and pickup locations will be emailed after registration.

Girls should attend camp comfortable and casual (shorts, tshirts and tennis shoes) and should bring a lunch and water bottle.
A morning and afternoon snack is provided each day.

- 79% of girls report they are under so much pressure they feel like they are going to explode (friendships, schoolwork, environment, extracurriculars)
- 55% of girls report they are afraid to be a leader b/c they don't want others to think they are bossy
- 75% of girls with low self-esteem reported engaging in negative activities like cutting, bullying, smoking, drinking or disordered eating
- About 20% of teens will experience depression before adulthood
- Over 70% of girls aged 15-17 avoid normal daily activities like attending school when they feel bad about their looks
- 44% of teen girls attempt to lose weight
